Taxpayer can view upcoming or past News and Updates related to GST on the portal. Taxpayer can view news & updates in pre-login and post login mode both. To view News and Updates perform following steps:
1. Access the https://www.gst.gov.in/ URL. The GST Home page is displayed.
2. Click on the News and Updates tab.
3. List of Advisories will be displayed on the screen. Click on Advisory to view more about the advisory.
4. Complete advisory will be displayed on the screen. Click on BACK button to go back or click on PRINT button to print or save the advisory.
5.Taxpayer can view the news and updates by entering the keyword in Search for News and Updates field. Taxpayer can search for current and previous years advisory both.
To search news and updates, enter keywords in Search for News and Updates field and click on search icon, all related news and updates will be displayed on the screen.
6. Taxpayer can serch for News and Updates by selecting type of News and Updates from Filter by Type drop-down list.
7. Taxpayer can view News and Updates month wise by selecting a month from Filter by Month drop-down list.
8. Click on View Archives hyperlink to view archives (Past year advisories).
9. Archives page will be displayed on the screen and here taxpayer can view previous years advisories.
Taxpayer can search news and updates by entering keywords into the Search for News and Updates field. To search news and updates enter keywords in Search for News and Updates field and click on search icon. In search result, taxpayer can view news and updates for current and previous years both.
All related current and previous year news and updates will be displayed on the screen.
10. Taxpayer can view the News and Updates year and month wise. Select Year from the list and click on the down-arrow icon against the required Month.
Note: The months which are having advisories will be displayed on the screen.
11. Taxpayer can view the News and Updates according to the type of the News and Updates by selecting a type from the Filter by Type drop-down list.
